A talented trio has escaped the world of fine dining to create a restaurant in Newtown that is good for the soul. Simon Thomsen reports.  

Suffer stodgy Italian and average Vietnamese no more, Newtown. Bloodwood, the brand new restaurant from ex-Claude's chefs Jo Ward, Claire van Vuuren and Mitch Grady is open.
