On Monday the 1st of August bloodwood will join forces with Higher Plane Chief Winemaker Mark Messenger for the first of our August Wine Dinners.

Located in the Margaret River The Higher Plane property was purchased in 1996 after a two-year research project to identify the ideal vineyard site in Margaret River. Over 100 properties were assessed for soil quality and aspect. Thirty-two vineyard sites were inspected before identifying the current property. Which is currently producing some of the most exciting wines out of the region at present.

You will enjoy a specially designed 6-course menu  by chef Jo Ward with matched wines from the Higher Plane portfolio. You will also have to chance to meet Mark and quiz him on his winemaking style and passion for the Margaret River Region.

The Higher Plane meets bloodwood dinner will be held in the intimate bloodwood private dining room and is an event not to be missed.
