bloodwood restaurant & bar is located in the former Newtown Conservatory @ 416 King Street Newtown. The interior has been transformed to reflect the Sydney inner west suburb, melding industrial & new finishes with an emphasis on recycled and reclaimed materials.
On any visit to bloodwood you'll find the three chef owners, Claire, Jo and Mitch in the kitchen, hard at work bringing you a fresh seasonal menu, with an emphasis on sharing.
To complement the extensive & well-crafted wine list, the bar has a solid selection of classic cocktails, international and local beers (i'll have a coopers longy thanks) and a substantial range of spirits. With the ability to seat 100, Bloodwood is divided into four unique areas - front bar, mezzanine dining area, deck dining and a communal table in the basement gallery.
